For our 25th wedding anniversary Phyllis and I traveled through Italy. One of our stops was in magical Venice. The historic serene canals and decadent architecture in Venice has attracted travelers for hundreds of years and has been the focal point of many artist's paintings. We took many photos capturing the most incredible scenes of this most romantic city.

I painted Moody Canal in Venice, an oil sketch from one of my photos. This painting’s name captures the feeling you experience when you look at it. Not every day is sunshine and rainbows; some are simply moody. Moodiness has a place in art. This painting, not only makes you want to travel to Venice to see it yourself, but it also makes you want to add this to your decor.
